Members of our firm are recognized experts in the areas of Green Design, Construction, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability. Spiezle Architectural Group provides consulting services to our clients and other design professionals.

LEED – The LEED Rating system is a valuable tool for evaluating the environmental performance of buildings. Our firm applies LEED design principles to all of our work and LEED Certifies many of our projects. Spiezle provides LEED Consulting Services as part of our core service offerings for the buildings we design, for existing facilities, and for projects being led by others. Our portfolio of LEED projects and LEED consulting is extensive. It covers many building types and sizes. We have experience across the full range of the LEED Rating System as well as with other environmental benchmarking tools.

Sustainability – We are committed to helping our clients be more sustainable in the way they operate their building and in their business operations. Our firm uses the same integrated systems thinking that we apply to the design of buildings to help clients be more sustainable in all aspects of their operations. We customize our approach to the needs and goals of each client and work closely with clients to create and implement plans that have measurable results.

Energy Savings Improvement Plan (ESIP) – Spiezle has successfully planned and implemented ESIPs for numerous clients to achieve alterntive sources of funding to pay for improvements to systems today with savings in the future. Each ESIP project is unique and Spiezle will ensure that you get the maximum benefit for your institution. Whether you choose to use the "Do It Yourself" (DIY) model or the Energy Service Company (ESCO) model, we will be your guide and partner through the process.

Carbon Neutrality – Our firm has experience helping clients document carbon emissions and develop strategies to reduce emissions. We have developed carbon reduction programs for single buildings, campuses, and climate action plans for communities. Our expertise in building design and operations, and experience with innovative energy systems are valuable tools for helping clients reduce their carbon footprint. We have performed Carbon Neutrality Action Plans for numerous higher education clients including Rider University, The College of New Jersey, Mercer County Community College and Berkeley College.

Energy Master Planning – We have a keen focus on the challenges facing clients and communities when it comes to energy cost and dependability. Our firm works with clients to create energy master plans that provide long-term benefit and savings using a variety of approaches to successfully finance and implement our recommendations.
