(Media, PA) – Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc., a regional architectural and sustainable design firm, is pleased to announce it has been selected as Professional for the new Student Recreation Center at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, a member of the State System of Higher Education, located in West Chester Borough, Chester County.
The success and growth of the university has created the need for recreation space consistent with the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education standards and the needs of the campus community. The initial scope of the project is a new 69,000 square foot recreation center located on North Campus, and therefore will have a significant presence for the university and the borough.
Spiezle, in collaboration with Moody Nolan, Inc., will facilitate a series of meetings with university representatives, educators, students, staff, and other designees to define, review and verify the goals of the project in its endeavor to propose a solution that embraces dedication to the local community, environment, and quality of life on campus.
