Trenton, NJ (June 6, 2008)—Despite the heavy competition of over 50 firms, Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the award of the New Culinary Arts Institute that will be located in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
The Institute will be designed to LEED™-Silver standards. It entails the renovations of two existing buildings constructed in 1814 and 1965, and an addition under Phase 1. Further a link/atrium space is proposed to tie into the existing adjacent campus building under Phase 2. The 1814 building is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. Spiezle is working with historic consultants to preserve the original design and restore the building to the 1814 period architecture.
The building will showcase the latest trends for culinary art studies with new hospitality labs and will contain flexible teaching space with an adjacent new café.
