Spiezle Architectural Group worked side-by-side with the Woodbridge Township Board of Education to pass $41 million referendum for roofing repairs and solar panel installation. This project continues the years of success of the relationship between Spiezle and the Board of Education.
The project includes partial or full roofing replacement at 16 schools and solar panel installation on 21 schools. The total solar production under the referendum is 3.32MW. Utilizing an almost 49 million grant that was received through Spiezle’s assistance, as well as the energy savings and solar credits, the estimated tax impact is less than $7 per year.
The referendum passed soundly. The Board of Education is now set, with Spiezle’s assistance, to not only become “greener” and significantly improve the roofing throughout the district, but also will accomplish the goal with minimal tax impact.
