This project was a 3 phased project.  The first phase was development of a fire simulation building. This building consists of 7 simulators and a roll over fire. At the time of construction, this was the most the sophisticated fire training academy built, outside of the US Navy. Other phases included completely gutting and renovating an existing class A fire building into a smoke building and search and rescue building. The building was designed to include moveable walls for search and recovery. The project also consisted of dirty classrooms and a car burning pit. All was controlled by the computers in the control tower attached to the first aid building.
