This was a complex project for both the fire commissioners and the fire company.  This project was a complete gut and renovation of a two story building that originally housed the fire company and the fire commissioners.  This was segregated into part of one of the apparatus phase.  The conversion included a full time fire department with bunk rooms for both male and females and offices for the fire commissioners and administration of the fire company, along with their dispatch system.  In addition to the sleeping facilities, there was a staff kitchen, lab meeting room, exercise facility and a large multi purpose room.  This building received a complete face-lift and was completed in phases while the station remained operable.
