As the success of its NCAA programs grow so does the need for upgraded facilities. To that end SAG has developed the program and conceptual drawings for a new arena which is to be constructed at the rear of existing Alumni Gymnasium. By linking this new building to the existing sports related structures, the university will complete its sports complex vision. The new facility will be designed to seat approximately 2,700 people, have a full NCAA basketball court, a wrestling practice room, Team and Visitors locker rooms, Coaches and Officials locker rooms, VIP boxes, the Athletic Directors and associated staff offices, Men’s and Women’s coaches offices, Sports Information offices, ticket booths and concession stands. Additionally existing Alumni Gymnasium will be renovated to allow for a hardwood practice floor for basketball and volleyball, coaches offices and team rooms.
