The client’s goal was to consolidate various University departments to a central location that would improve operations and stimulate more interaction between departments and working groups. The client used this opportunity to re-evaluate and standardize work space standards in order to simplify space planning and reduce per-employee square footage costs. More
The result is a well-received work environment that provides smaller but more efficient work stations and offices, and introduces a variety of collaboration and meeting spaces throughout the 54,000 SF floor plate. The simple kit of parts consists of two work station sizes plus a small and medium office module. Work station heights were lowered and offices all have glass fronts which contribute to the colorful, bright and open work environment.
