“Right-sizing” Parker’s existing Evergreen Way, required the addition of four new private bedrooms to arrive at a total house-hold of 16. The design challenge was to expand the small-house to meet the new requirements without spoiling its intimate, residential character. More importantly, this expansion was designed to eliminate any potential impact to the residents and staff during its construction. More
The new addition was placed in the “back yard”, at the elbow of the house where administrative and mechanical spaces flank the existing dining room.
