Spiezle Acquires Peak Systems Engineering!
Spiezle continues to expand as part of its smart growth strategy with the acquisition of Peak Systems Engineering. Peak Systems Engineering is a client-focused mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (MEP/FP) firm with offices in Cary and Charlotte, North Carolina. Founded in 2020 by engineers seeking to work differently to better impact their clients’ successes, the firm emphasizes high-performance design solutions that minimize natural resource use while optimizing business operations. They offer a range of project experiences that mirror Spiezle’s diverse market sectors. Their team of experienced engineers is committed to delivering innovative and environmentally conscious solutions that benefit their clients.
“Bringing our two companies together is an exciting step in our strategic growth and increases the number of office locations to seven along the East Coast,” said Thomas S. Perrino, President and CEO of Spiezle. “This partnership also expands our in-house MEP/FP capabilities for our clients, allowing them a one-stop model for their project needs. Additionally, Peak’s stellar reputation and national presence will aid in our future expansion westward.”
With the acquisition, Peak’s two offices and thirteen staff will join Spiezle, bringing its total headcount to over 135 employee-owners. Dan Gill, PE, will join as Principal, while both Melissa Taylor, PE, LC LEED BD&C, and Dave Cale, PE and LEED AP will be Associate Principals. Lee Brooks, LC will join the team, as a Director of Engineering (Peak).
“Joining forces with Spiezle is a natural next step in our evolution,” said Peak Systems Engineering President Dan Gill. “We have been dedicated to success through reliable client services, and we’re excited to bring that legacy into a larger platform. This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver even greater value to our clients while creating new opportunities for our team.”
