Damian Huneycutt

AIA, ACHA | Associate Principal

With over 20 years of leadership in healthcare architecture, Damian blends deep industry expertise with a passion for improving the experiences of patients, families, and caregivers through intentional, human-centered design. He has guided complex healthcare projects from concept to completion, integrating construction innovations, prefabrication strategies, and alternative delivery methods to achieve exceptional results.

Recognizing that healthcare spaces often hold life’s most vulnerable and most hopeful moments, Damian designs environments that are not only highly functional and efficient, but also healing, calming, and emotionally supportive.

A member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the North Carolina Healthcare Engineers Association, and the American College of Healthcare Architects, Damian has presented his work at national conferences and earned industry-wide recognition for advancing healthcare environments through thoughtful design.

Beyond his professional work, Damian is deeply involved in his community, serving as Cubmaster for Pack 13 and Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina. He treasures time with his three sons and daughter and enjoys hiking, camping, and four-wheeling.

Damian holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
