Justin Kozik

Associate Principal | AIA, LEED Green Associate

Justin Kozik, AIA, is an Associate Principal and LEED Green Associate who has been with Spiezle Architectural Group for more than a decade. He helps clients make confident facility decisions by guiding them through assessments, master planning, and capital funding strategies that align organizational goals with available resources. With a focus on educational environments, Justin is especially skilled at transforming underutilized spaces into modern, collaborative learning settings that better serve students, staff, and communities.

Justin believes design professionals have a responsibility to provide clear, thoughtful guidance, not only recommending solutions but also explaining the “why” behind them. He takes pride in translating complex technical information into practical, actionable strategies, building trust with clients and helping them move projects forward with clarity and purpose. His work is driven by a passion for projects that create meaningful impact in local communities.

He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the New Jersey Association of School Board Officials and the US Green Building Council. He is involved with Habitat for Humanity and participates in various charitable golf outings supporting scholarship foundations throughout the state. Outside the office, Justin enjoys exploring new places and the great outdoors, as well as pursuing hands-on creative activities such as woodworking and cooking. He and his wife travel regularly to national parks across the country and abroad, embarking on memorable hikes and experiencing new cultures along the way. Justin also enjoys golfing and visiting wineries, having explored every winery in New Jersey and continuing to plan trips to notable wine regions around the country.

Justin received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Virginia Tech.
