Susan Love Salon | Lions Gate
Having built a long-standing relationship with the Lions Gate community in Voorhees, NJ, Spiezle was asked to reimagine an underutilized space in support of a new salon dedicated to the memory of past Executive Director, Ms. Susan Love. Susan’s family raised funds to support the new salon, designed to rival any salon in the surrounding area. The new salon replaces an existing one that was constrained by its location and size and could no longer accommodate resident demand.
Design with Dignity
Spiezle repurposed an underused rehabilitation gym to create an expanded and welcoming salon environment. The project included interior renovations to create a new hair dressing area, a physical therapy room, and an improved waiting area and corridor, resulting in a more efficient use of space and enhanced experience for residents and staff.
