Damian Huneycutt Presents at AIA Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) Charlotte Summer Social

Recently, our healthcare team had the opportunity to present to a full audience at the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) Charlotte Summer Social.

Associate Principal Damian Huneycutt, AIA, NCARB, ACHA, led a session focused on Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), highlighting three projects at different stages of development: one recently completed, one currently under construction, and one in design.

The presentation explored how each project addressed unique client goals while comparing planning strategies, patient flow, operational efficiency, and design decisions. Most importantly, it focused on the lessons learned throughout each project and how those insights continue to improve future healthcare environments.

At Spiezle, we believe every project builds knowledge that makes the next one even better. Sharing those experiences with our peers is one way we continue advancing healthcare design.

Thank you to AIA AAH Charlotte for the opportunity to present and to everyone who attended and contributed to a great discussion.
