Principal Steve Leone Announced as Board Chair of NJFA

Steve Leone, senior living and healthcare Principal-in-Charge at Spiezle, was recently named Chairman of the Board of the New Jersey Foundation for Aging (NJFA). Steve is excited to continue working with the Foundation to further its mission of providing leadership in public policy and education to enable older adults to live in their communities with independence and dignity.

“The Foundation supports and parallels the work I do in the architectural design field,” Steve Leone said. “Creating senior living and healthcare environments is a passion of mine. By working with the Foundation, I am able to bring my knowledge and expertise to elevate the Foundation profile to show more people the great work that the NJFA does.”

The not-for-profit organization, which was founded in 1998, offers media and educational programming, professional conferences, and community forums to inform and connect the public to resources including information to assist older adults with challenges or questions they may face.

Steve, who has been a member of the board since 2014, has supported the Board in a variety of capacities, including chairing the Foundation’s strategic planning committee twice. Steve says he is excited about the future of the Foundation and continues to be inspired by its mission and values.

“The New Jersey Foundation for Aging is dedicated to helping any and all older adults in New Jersey and I’m looking forward to working with them to help bring the organization to the next level,” Steve said.
